why not prove it? Instead of asking about someone's weekend, ask them how they
feel about, say, international politics. You might get an odd look, but you'll
also get great insight into another person.

也就是要去跟平常不太聊天的對象也講講話。
閒聊是給平常人做的，這時候的羊羊絕不是平常人，所以為何不藉此證明一下自己呢？
所以與其只是問問對方週末過得如何，你還可以問問他們對於國際情勢等事務的感受。
或許一開始別人會覺得你怪怪的，但是慢慢來之後，你會得到對人不一樣的深入見解。
