Judges have to set aside their own feelings about a case that comes before them. They have to listen to the facts and the evidence. They have to make sure that the law is followed. Even so, it may be difficult for a judge to not have personal preferences or feelings about a case, yet they can't let those interfere in their decisions.
You may find yourself in a similar place right now having to evaluate a person or a situation with complete objectivity. You have your own viewpoint, Leo, but you still have to follow the rules.
