You may not agree with a friend's or a relative's position on something

turn into a conflict. Even if the comments you receive or the unasked-for
advice you are given is harsh or critical, you can stop it from evolving into
something worse. If you are firmly convinced of your own position, it
shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks about it.
