You may have weaned yourself off of an old obligation not so long ago. You
may have earned yourself a great sense of relief by doing this, Moonchild.
But this was probably a very difficult thing for you to do because you are
hard-wired for guilt when you feel you are not doing all you can for a
loved one - even when something isn't truly your burden to bear. If
someone comes back to you soon to try to get you to renew that obligation,
you need to stand firm. You have done your part. It's time to move on and
do something for yourself instead.
