It can be aggravating when, in traffic, you give up your
own spot to let someone sneak in front of you and they
don't even offer a wave or a nod of thanks. You would
probably think that someone like that is rude or careless
or pushy.

But maybe there could be more to the story. Maybe they were
having a bad day. Maybe they muttered "thank you" behind
their closed window and you just didn't see or hear it. You
never really know what is happening in someone else's life,
Moonchild. Give the benefit of the doubt today, and have
faith in people.

當你在路上讓出位置給後面的人開車到你前面，對方卻不揮個手
或點頭示意一下是很惱人的。你可能會認為這是一個無禮、粗心或固
執的人。
但也許裡頭蘊含著更多的故事。也許他們有一個很糟的一天；也許他
們在窗戶後面喃喃說著"謝謝"但你沒聽到或看到。你永遠不會真正知
道別人的生活到底發生了什麼，月之子。今天試著不要懷疑並且相信
人們吧!

有時候事情做了是因為我們想做，而不是期待獲得回報。所以
當別人沒有反應時，就忘記它是最好的辦法。至少我們已經有做了，
那就已經足夠了。
