曾經有個非常富裕的人，卻總是只將錢花在刀口上。
他並沒有隨意浪費自己的財富。
不論是奢侈品的花費、在高檔餐廳用餐或單純只是一點點的購物樂趣他都不曾沉浸其中。
對那些不熟悉他的人而言，他看起來是個小氣鬼。
但是，這個人之所以如此依戀自己財富，
是因為年幼時曾十分貧困，使得他對於一無所有的狀態非常恐懼。
今天你可能會遇到某個並不那麼討喜的人。
別太急著對此人下定論。
你很快就會知道他背後那值得理解的理由。

There once was a man who was extraordinarily wealthy, yet he spent very
little on anything except the necessities of life. He didn't give his money
away. He didn't enjoy it by spending it on luxuries or dining in restaurants
or even small purchases that would have given him pleasure. To those who
didn't know him, he seemed cheap. However, it was this man's deprived
childhood of poverty - and the fear of reliving the state of not having
enough - that caused him to cling to his finances so tightly. You may meet
