On any neighborhood street, you can see a dilapidated, unkempt,
bedraggled-looking house right next door to a beautiful, sparkling clean home
with a a manicured exterior landscape. We cannot control what other people do,
or how they take care of their own business. There are remedies, of course. If
you owned the more well-kept home described above, you could file a complaint
about the other, but that wouldn't be very friendly. There are alternatives
that are more peaceful, and if you are facing a conflict now with someone whose
standards aren't up to your own, find a kind way to deal with it.
