藉著你身為人的知覺和你對火的知識，
你知道火焰對脆弱的蛾來說並不是安全之處。
即便如此，你被那火的光芒和溫熱給吸引。
如果你飛得太近，你的翅膀將被火燒成灰。
你現在也許受某件事的引力影響，
而你知道這樣對你不太好。

Pretend for a moment that you are a moth, heading toward the flame. With your
human sensibility and your knowledge of fire, you know that the flame is not
a safe place for a fragile moth. Even so, you are attracted to its light and
its warmth. If you fly too close, your wings will surely catch fire and turn
to ash. You may be drawn to something now that you know isn't good for you.
Don't be foolish. The momentary heat and light wouldn't be worth it,
would they?
