Even when you have all the details in place - and maybe especially when you
have all the details in place - things can pop up that seriously derail your
strategy. If you plan for something too rigidly, with little room for
improvisation, it can be just as problematic as not having a plan at all,
depending on the circumstances. A new venture may seem to rely on a strict
plan, but you need to be open to possible adjustments.
