may be why you are persevering with a certain endeavor even though it may be
abundantly clear that it's no longer a good idea. You don't want anyone to
think you would quit, and you don't want to feel like you gave up. You are a
smart cookie, Leo, and you need to draw the line at certain times. Giving up on
a fruitless pursuit is not quitting, so there wouldn't be anything to feel bad
about.

我覺得大貓的強悍，就在於確認目標後我們會有非比尋常的耐力。
大貓們或許很討厭做一件事情半途而廢，或是虎頭蛇尾，
但有的時候別因為自尊，而跟自己過不去了喔。

對於某些沒有結果的人事物，真的不完全是自己的問題。
特別是我們確實已經努力過的，那就更不須愧疚了。
