OK, you chose that job, that role and that company (or the decision to go
into your own business - or the person you went into business with), or the
person you married….

If it didn’t turn out quite how you anticipated (and that in some cases is
an understatement) then who can you blame? You have to take some part of the
responsibility for the end result and it most likely was the logical
conclusion (with the benefit of hindsight..).

You might have thrown caution to the wind with that new idea or took the
wrong path in your desire for freedom and change, but as a consequence you
are feeling like a long hot shower to rid yourself of the toxicity.

Well take this as an insight into the future unless you show some restraint
because you are gagging to throw in the job and/or offload those limitations
that are presently driving you crazy.

Sure your ego has been bruised but that has actually put you in good stead
for the future (it’s no longer an impediment!). You are ready now for the
big move and unfettered by misplaced loyalties (or even commitments) but
being foolhardy or acting erratically is NOT advisable - no matter how
tempting it is to tell a certain someone what you really think.
