If you were driving through a thick fog, and you couldn't see beyond the hood
of your car, you would probably stop until the fog lifted. Even if you had to
be somewhere by a certain time, it would be foolish to take a turn you
weren't sure of, or to merge onto a mountain road if you weren't positive it
was the right way to go. Fog doesn't last forever, and waiting would probably
wind up getting you there sooner than going the wrong way. A pressing
decision isn't as pressing as you think. Wait until the fog lifts, and you'll
go the right way.
