If you bruise easily, and you dislike the feeling and the appearance of being
bruised, then you probably would not engage in a game of tackle football.
Some things are obvious. When you cross into emotional territory, it isn't as
cut and dried.
You may not want to be hurt in a love relationship or a friendship, yet you
may have chosen a lover or a friend that you suspect could hurt you. If you
are averse to taking such a chance, then just don't. It really is that simple.
