October stars off as a “power” month, and what I mean by that is power
struggles and personal and hidden agendas and obsessive and even irrational
behavior - but on a positive note no real change can come without some hard
times! On the 1st the Sun squares Pluto and this will turn things upside
down. (I note there are some “interesting times” currently in the US..).
From the first weekend Uranus enters the mix things in hard aspects to the
Sun and not seeing “eye to eye” with Saturn and whenever Uranus is around,
things are going to be “unpredictable”.
There could be some issues with marital finances (other people’s money),
debts, inheritances (other people’s money) and sometimes or general
financial problems.

It’s likely that you will be highly dissatisfied and frustrated getting what
you want, especially in relationships with others and with your resources.
At the other end of the scale, you could feel super frustrated if you aren’t
allowed certain freedoms and you are a sign that doesn’t like to be stifled.
Especially now with Uranus in Aries, any form of restraint is likely to send
you off the deep end (and particularly if you don’t buy into those
restrictions).

Whilst you don’t have to put up with anything that is intolerable, I do
suggest some greater effort towards a flexibility approach in October if you
are to live in peace. Put it this way, if you are accommodating you are
more likely to get what you want (than if you rebel or reject situations
outright).
Mars arrives in your health and work sector mid month so it goes without
saying that if you want to make use of this energy in your working life, you
can achieve a lot over the next few weeks. Similarly if you want to improve
your health, join a gym etc. you’ll have the extra “get up and go” to do
it.

The big news for you personally in October is the lunar eclipse in your sign
and this can have a number of manifestations. As it is on the relationship
axis you will be feeling more “emotional” or “out of control” in your
relationships and this can be a time of breakups (by the other party) - but
only of course if the relationship is already on the skids.
For others it’s about defining boundaries and establishing some kind of
stability or balance between yourself and another (or others).
This can be a turning point in your life that launches you in a different
direction over the coming months (especially in the area of self expression)
and you will want to be more in control of your own world - however you go
about achieving that….

Because this is the house of Self, how you look, sound, act and live all
become “issues” of importance (so if it’s your body for example, Mars will
help with the health aspects). But the Cosmos does want you to become more
independent and circumstances will propel you to appraise where you’re “at”
in life (and you will also be examining the people in it).
This eclipse is about YOU, YOUR needs and YOUR wants (and how you go about
getting that). Just remember you are an immediate gratification sign so don’
t get too emotional if you can’t achieve this overnight (as this energy will
affect your perspective and make you more emotional).

In the last week the Sun enters Scorpio so overall it would be fair to say
that (all-in-all) your emotional reactions are going to be “elevated” for
most of the month (well at least the second half) and it’s a month when
other people are going to push your buttons.
Lovers, spouses, bosses, friends (anyone that you are emotionally connected
to in some way) are going to be the catalysts for your doubts or suspicions…
or even your fears.
For some you finally have to acknowledge that something is well and truly “
dead in the water” (painful as that may be) be that a relationship or a
business.

perfect opportunity to review all that has transpired (including anything or
anyone that you may have lost from your life) or at least try and see a
situation in a different perspective.
This can also apply to money - yours if you are overextended - or someone else
’s.
Message of the month: Be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your heart
in it, take yourself out of it.
