There is no shame in giving up on something that you no longer see as worthy of your time. You may have a sense that you have to follow through on something that you began with great enthusiasm. You may have had great hopes for it initially, but as time has gone on, you have realized that it isn't a good fit, or it isn't what you thought. There may be pride associated with this venture, though. Others are expecting you to complete what you started - but your time is precious. Do what you know is right.

放棄掉一個你覺得是浪費時間的事情，
一點也不羞恥。

你總覺得應該把自己興沖沖開始的東西，
好好地盯到結果出來為止。
一開始對它是滿懷希望的，可是隨著時間演進，
卻發覺不太對勁，跟你想像的不一樣。
或許也是出於自傲的心態，
因為大家都期待你完成自己開始的工作。

可是時間是很寶貴的，
做自己覺得正確的事情吧。
